And we're super ready.
Lacie is inspired and decided to start saving her tips that she gets every day. At first I didn't think much of it, cause she was only gettin around 5 bucks at day at the time.
But she was really excited about it and made this cute little box with her super crafty craft skills.
Then suddenly she started getting 10 dollars a day. And 10 bucks a day, 5 days a week for 3 months adds up quick.
We've already got over $600 to spend on our little tiny baby! So because of Lacie we're in good shape to buy him/her a nice crib, stroller, car seat, diaper bag, and whatever else you're supposed to buy babies.
And she's still got over 3 months of tips left!

ReplyDeleteWay to go Lacie! That is so awesome! Good for you guys! But seriously, like Dustin said, don't buy too much. If you are having a shower, you will get lots of gifts. Alot of people like to go in on group gifts like for the stroller and stuff. So make sure you talk to family/shower organizers before you buy too much stuff by yourselves. Family and friends love to help, especially with first babies when ya'll have nothing to start with. That way you can save some of your money for diapers and the not so fun stuff.
ReplyDeleteNana's & Popop's like to buy something for their grandchild too........and I have yet to be invited to a shower......oh I did go to Amanda's bridal shower cause it was at my house!
