Time with Cousins & Will's Wedding

Last weekend was a party. We got to have our fun cousins Jack & Luke come see us and Will got hitched.

We let Jack open his present from Paris early.

He was pretty psyched about it.

Recently Paris has been fascinated with peoples faces - so she loved when Jack would get close to her on the floor so she could claw at him.

We got to go to their luncheon at Macaroni Grill where you're allowed to color on the tables.

Will was pretty happy all day. He was excited about something.

Paris LOVED being on the dance floor. She didn't stop smiling and giggling the whole time.

Their getaway car was pretty awesome. Tyler and I will take complete credit for it.

There was some song by Marvin Gaye blasting when they got in the car too.

Craig Biggio

As everyone within a 1 million mile radius of Minute Maid Park knows: Today is Craig Biggio's birthday!

In celebration of this event, Dallin's Christmas present to Andrew was allowed to be opened early.

It.

   Was.

  AWESOME.

One of the greatest accomplishments in his storied career was reaching 3,000 hits  - a feat only achieved by 26 other players in the history of the MLB.

And important to note is to remember that Andrew was there that night that it happened.

It would be impossible to have a post about Biggio without mentioning Bagwell

And this is a funny picture of him long ago

You can expect another post about BGO on January 9th -
when he's inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame

A Real Role Model

I know Liz, Megan, and mom might just skip over this post cause they think it's a sports video - so I'm giving you a heads up now - don't.   Lacie loved this video and teared up at the end.

I was just really surprised it didn't get more of a reaction on facebook. So I thought I'd post it here too. It makes me really happy to know that as Houston Texans fans we're not cheering for the Terrell Owens, Deion Sanders, or Chad Johnsons of the league. We're cheering for guys like this:

Party Animals

This weekend has been jam-packed full of fun for the youngest Coffman family.

Friday night we had our work Christmas party and it was a BLAST.

We got a steak dinner with baked potatoes and cheesecake. We had a white elephant gift exchange and made out like bandits with a ginormous box of brownie mix and a hot sauce variety pack.
Then we had our gingerbread house making contest. But it wasn't your average contest. The winning house is the one that is best able to withstand a natural disaster.   The natural disaster changes every year. We were told that last year they dropped them off of a two-story balcony.  This year...

They set the chickens loose on them in the courtyard. They pecked at all of them for quite awhile, but eventually we resorted to dropping the chickens on top of each house.

Lacie built ours nice and sturdy - but we still came in second place.

Saturday evening we had our ward christmas party - again with a nice dinner and white elephant gifts. This time we got candles, lotion, and rose pedals... pretty scandalous for a BYU ward. But Andrew was super excited about it.

Then we headed up to Salt Lake with our friends to see the lights at Temple Square. We had fun and ended the night at Hatch Family Chocolates - the best hot chocolate in the world.

Lo and behold Andrew ran into one of the sisters he taught in the MTC. Sister Whaley is doin great in the Temple Square mission.

And this is just a cute picture of our cute baby.

Baby Food

After Paris' 4-month checkup, Lacie felt like it was time to introduce her to rice cereal baby food. She was super excited and ran to WalMart while I was at work to buy baby spoons and bowls and food. When I got home that night, the first thing I got asked was if I was ready to feed Paris baby food.

So maybe I should have felt a little bad for Lacie that it didn't go quite as well as she was hoping. But the faces Paris was making the whole time were just too hilarious to not laugh. It was a very entertaining ordeal.

Luckily the next night went much better.

And by now she absolutely loves getting her entire face covered in rice mush.

Lots of great things about the month of December

1. School's almost over

2. Christmas Decorations

Baby Paris is bigger than the star - in case you were curious.

Lacie used her crafty craft skills to make us a new wreath

3. Will's getting married in two weeks

So we got to have a great bachelor party last night

And on a side note, we found the plot of land that we're gonna buy in Idaho
