Paris' new favorite activity is to go to town on a pad of paper with a pen. We're not sure if she's drawing a picture or writing a story, but it keeps her happy.
Now featuring the adventures of Andrew Coffman, his beautiful wife Lacie, their sweet little girl Paris, beast of a son Roman, and the canine Prince.

Rockets
The Rockets came to town to play the Jazz last Saturday. So obviously we had to go.
We paid a brief homage to Stockton & Malone by their statues before the game.
But then went in to see the real stars warm up.
That is indeed James Harden. And no, we did not zoom in on this picture.
Paris loved every minute of it. She cheered every time the crowd cheered (which was difficult to try to explain to her that we wanted the other team to win that no one was cheering for). She was an instant hit with the group behind us and flirted the entire second half.
The Rockets came back from being 19 points behind to win the game 104-93. It was a great game to be at. When Chandler Parsons' picture came up on the jumbotron Lacie exclaimed, "Oh WOW! He's CUTE! ...... sorry, I didn't mean to be that excited about it....."

Nana & PopPop
Nana & PopPop came for a quick visit to see the Cougars beat down Boise St.
We got to be on the field for pre-game warm-ups.
It was pretty awesome
The next day we took Paris to see the ducks.
She loved it.
That night we got her dressed up in her costume to go to the ward trunk-or-treat.
She figured out pretty quick what was going on.
She was pretty bummed when it was time to go.
But got stoked when we were home and she got to open the candy.
We had a fun quick three days and can't wait to see them again!

Pumpkins for Paris
We picked out the perfect pumpkin at the farmers market and taught Paris how to pull the guts out.
She was in heaven.
Birthday Week
It's a huge birthday celebration around here the week of October 13th through the 20th. We just party nonstop.
So Saturday morning we headed up the canyon and took the lift up Sundance to enjoy the fall colors.

We went for a nice stroll around the top of the mountain.
Paris loved it
Lace had the whole place decorated for the day.
Then we got to walk across the street to watch the Cougars run all over Georgia Tech.

Anniversary
We went to a fun concert for our anniversary (since Lacie didn't consider the BYU-Utah game a sufficient celebration).
Florida Georgia Line & Thompson Square opened for Luke Bryan
Cool Conference Story
So this afternoon when Elder Gifford Nielsen came to the pulpit, I got really excited. Lacie asked who he was, so I told her how he was a great quarterback at BYU and in Houston and still lives in Houston.
She asked if he just got called to be a seventy. I said, 'no, he got called back in 2010 and he came to Scottsdale with Quentin Cook on his very first assignment. I got to meet him and talk with him for 10 minutes.'
And then right after that, he starts sharing his story about his first assignment at a stake conference with Elder Cook! He shared that same story about seeing the shoes on President Deaton's desk in their meeting right before the general session of stake conference that day. Always fun to have your mission mentioned in general conference.

Typical Gameday Sights at the Coffmans
Entering our 3rd football season as a couple, Lacie has finally started to catch on to the excitement and passion of BYU football. We've reached an unspoken agreement that if I keep the football talk and watching to a minimum throughout the rest of the week, she will join in the festivities of Gameday with me on Saturday.
We pull Paris' bedtime stories out and put them on display.
The Cougar highlight DVD's take front and center stage and are on the TV throughout the day.
The Gameday flag gets hung in the front window.
Paris wears her gameday outfit.
We even get to hang this Cougar poster on the wall.
Lace rocked the house and made this sweet wreath from scratch.
We bust out these Cougarware for our pregame pancake party.
Our love seat turns into the Cougar Seat of Love.
Paris helps momma make the cougar snacks to go along with our pregame pancake party.
Then the sun begins to set and we head to Lavell Edwards Stadium to watch total and complete domination.
