Houston

We got to have a long weekend in the great state of Texas to see Aaron get hitched.

We stayed in a hotel real close to the temple so we got to walk around and enjoy the grounds. And also to pick our house in Champions Forest.

We headed straight to the store and ran to the Blue Bell aisle, then just sat and stared (and drooled).

After stocking our fridge full of banana pudding, moolenium crunch, and cookies and cream we headed to Academy to get all our Astros gear for the game and Rockets gear for the winter.

Friday was wedding day, so we had fun all day at the sealing, the luncheon, and the reception.

We were able to have a mini 6-year high school reunion and got to see lots of friends from CIPLC

Devin and Luis were both pretty stoked to dance with Paris all night.

Aaron and I tore up the dance floor as usual.

Saturday we headed down to Galveston and partied at Moody Gardens & on the beach with our Louisiana Cousins.

When we stopped at their hotel to rinse off, Paris could not get enough of Luke.

That night was the main event: MINUTE MAID PARK!!

It was a great game to be at, with lots of excitement.

Luke finally warmed up to Paris' hugs and loves.

And Paris was fascinated with Uncle Dallins beard. She wouldn't stop rubbing her face against it.

It was fantastic being in Houston and getting to see everyone and have so much fun. We even got up to Northwestern Mutual's office in the Woodlands and drove through some neighborhoods nearby.

Lacie says it wasn't near as hot and humid as everyone had made her think and she liked it more than she thought she would. So that's good progress.

Wisconsin Cousins

We had a blast with the Wisconsin Cousins while they were in town!

We realized that we didn't take enough pictures of all the fun we had, so that means we'll have to get together again soon!

But we did get a shot of how much of a party Gideon had. Guess we were just too much fun for him to handle.

1st Birthday

We had a party in honor of baby Paris.

She was pretty stoked to blow out her candle.

But even more stoked to eat her cupcake.

After the party was the afterparty at the splash pad.

And then dinner at Malawi's

Paris got lots and lots of gifts and is so grateful to all her cousins and friends.

This was her gift from mom and dad

Timmy

Turns out Tim McGraw hasn't eaten any junk food since the 80s. The guy is ripped beyond belief.

It was probably the most attracted to another male that I've ever been.

Through my connections, we got front-row spots. I caught a guitar pick from the band leader and the violinist took my buddys phone on stage. It was kind of a big deal.

I even got to shake Timmy's hand a few times.

Although some might say that Tim got to touch MY hand. ;-)

Nielsens

When Andrew was a brand new missionary and for the first 7 months of his mission, he lived with an awesome couple - Grant and Marlene Nielsen.

They've stayed in touch over the years and even came to our sealing.

Recently they were called to serve at the Polynesian Cultural Center. With the huge influx of missionaries, senior couples are now taught at the church building next door to the MTC. That building is also the building that we go to church in.

So Andrew snuck in one afternoon to say hi and snap a quick photo before they flew away to slave away in Hawaii.

Paris New Trick

Just like her mom, Paris loves shoes. But in her case, any shoe will do.

She's caught on that normal people wear shoes on their feet - but she hasn't figured out how to get them on HER feet yet. So she improvises.

And crawls around the house with stinky shoes on her hands.

4th of July

We went up to Idaho to celebrate the fourth.

We got to see a parade

Got to try square ice cream.

Got to go to a wedding.

Went biking

Had friends come visit

Practiced our archery skills

Took a new family picture

And even got to visit our land. Pictures really don't do it justice. It's a lot prettier than it looks and the view of the Tetons really is breathtaking. It will be a great spot for the Coffman Compound.

We even saw a badger out there.

Paris was pretty worn out after it all.
