Turning Two at the Zoo is Coo

For Paris' birthday we took her to the Hogle Zoo.  She loved it.

The lions were sleeping so we had to be quiet

But the sea lions were wide awake and playing

The grizzlies rolled around in the water together playing. It was pretty awesome

And we learned that tigers are one cat that actually likes water

It was fun to be two at the zoo

Then we got to come home to a Purple Princess Sofia Party

And bust a move

She got her own iPhone so that's how the rest of the day was spent

We finally convinced to color with us

But the absolute best part of the day was that she got to BE Princess Sofia!

She was such a happy princess

Fun. in Milwaukee

Got to see the wisconsin cousins and enjoy a saturday with them

Exploring the museum

And having the most wisconsin meal ever created:

Beer battered brats, sauerkraut, bacon, & beer mustard on a bun with a side of beer-cheese potatoes.

A heart attack on a plate. And it was delicious.

Got to go to the zoo and see real tigers

Got to see the Brewers dominate the Reds

And the band fun. preformed for us

Oh yeah and I did some work stuff too.

But even that was awesome -

Because our CEO got up and taught the whole company about the Holy Ghost

The editor of Forbes magazine told us how awesome we are

And College Gameday came to thank us for sponsoring the Rose Bowl

You're welcome College Gameday.

It was a super fun week.

Oh and this was my fortune with my meal in the airport. So that's exciting.

Freedom & Fireflies in the Air

We went to the land of the potato to celebrate our freedom this year.

We got all red-white-and-blued out and watched the parade go by.

Stuffed our face full of watermelon

Bounced all around on the trampoline

Took our very first ride on a horsey

Roman was very popular with the ladies

Then we came home and used our cereal bowl as a hat

And squished the cat

And celebrated being free again. Because you can't celebrate freedom enough.

Fun-Filled Weekend

We had a busy weekend -

Fun at Seven Peaks waterpark Friday afternoon

Then got to watch the Owlz win that night.
(Can you find Waldo?)

There were fireworks after the game and Roman was mesmerized

Saturday morning we had to go down to Salem, so we stopped by to see the progress on the Payson temple.

The background does look fake, but it is indeed real.

We went to a Red White & Blue celebration at the Riverwoods
Then to Strawberry days in Pleasant Grove to try to the strawberries & cream.

We were pretty wiped when we got home

Cinderella

For Orem Summerfest Paris & Roman won the cutest siblings category. They won teddy bears, free kids meals at Texas Roadhouse, some coloring books, and tickets to see Cinderella at the Scera Theater!!

Paris loved dancing and singing along to the whole show. She was entranced.
Even walking back to the car she was singing "dreams are happening every day...."
(Though it sounded more like "eems app reeeeee daaay!!")

She loved coming on a date with mom and dad and staying out late like a big girl.

Memorial Day Weekend

We went to Idaho for the long weekend. It was a party.

We had sandwiches with cousins

Swung on the playset

Jumped on the trampoline

Had our very first taste of smores!

And played with sparklers

Found another potential piece of land to build on

Roman just hung out and slept most of the time

Front yard

I know you've all been dying to see pictures of our front yard ever since I put up pictures of the backyard. Sorry I don't have before and afters this time. Just know that it took a lot of hard work to make it look this ridiculously good looking.

Lacie likes to randomly squat in the road in front of our house.

Why is backyard one word but front yard is not?
